Industrial Design is at the core of our product development process. Our clients come to us for out-of-the-box thinking and skillful blending of of function and form. We foster a collaborative enviroment for creative problem solving and can bring a fresh perspective to product design challenges.
Our designers have years of industry experience in corporate and consultant roles and have built ongoing relationships with many of our clients.
Our Engineering Department can take a design from concept to reality, evolving the project from design intent to a manufacturable solution. Our engineers have expertise in a wide range of industries including injection molding, die casting, thermoforming, sheet metal, and machining.
We employ the latest solid modeling and analysis tools to validate design decisions. We have regular interaction with low and high volume manufacturers and can provide full documentation for production.
Part the product development process is communicating clearly to the end user how to operate and maintain their product. Our Illustration and Animation department provides our clients with technical documentation that is clear, concise and communicates effectively.
We work closely with our clients, interfacing directly with engineers, technical writers, and marketing specialists. We design and layout manuals, provide creative direction for and produce animations, and create illustrations for user guides, service manuals, product promotion, marketing research, and patents.
Our Model Shop is our Swiss Army Knife. One of KEK's motto's is "get physical fast", meaning physical models can aide the design process at most any stage. As such, our modelmakers are willing to tackle just about anything that comes our way.
Our team of truly gifted craftspeople are equipped with today's latest technology as well as a few old-school tricks and tools. Working closely with our design team and/or client, they quickly and effectively create mock-ups, models, prototypes-even short production runs- to support any phase of a project.
